Tilda with comfort blanket

Good Morning Everyone, I have popped along to show my new card,  that I have coloured entirely with distress inks. I have been practicing a lot and watching tutorials on u tube and I think that this one has turned out quite nice.

I didn't want to put too many embellies on this card, as quite often I finish my card and realise that I have covered nearly all the beautiful paper (I know we've all been there!) so had to exercise a little self restraint hee hee!

There are 5 layers of papers and card, the top layer is beautiful  Maja Design Sofiero Paper
called The Magnificent Flower Street.
I have added a little frantage glitter to the image and the frame behind tilda and sentiment are cut from paper from the same range.

The larger amber berry to the right of the picture is from live and love crafts, but I couldn't find it when I checked their site, so I don't know what it is called. The frosted pink berries, shabby heart and cluney lace across the middle of the card, are also from LLC too.

The roses, cherry blossom and resin dove are from the ribbon girl.

With the tag removed from behind the image. It is distressed threaded with mocha and pink lace and coffee coloured ribbon and has a tiny teddy bear charm hanging from a silver ring.
I have also frantaged an ornate metal corner with vintage beige.

Perfect Sentiment! From LOTV.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and have a good week.

Take care
Cuddles

Edwin and Magnolia, beach themed card

Hello All My Lovely Friends.

I made this Edwin & Magnolia Card Today. After sunning myself in my garden for a while hee.
She is Tilda With Seashells and He is Edwin With Starfish and the sunny background (I think, as it does not say on the packaging).

Anyhow, here is my card

Coloured with copics and prisma pencils, I have sprinkled shabby beige frantage and embossed to give a raised sandy texture, I did the same with my no lines card too, as it gives an especially good effect.

I took a little inspiration from Jenny Hodges and added a couple of die cut corners. Thanks Jen!

Rolled Roses From The Ribbon Girl.

Lovely Angel Fish From Live & Love Crafts and the papers are magnolia nautical papers, from the new collection. The lace is from my own stash

I have threaded some twine between the die cut waves to add some interest and also through the doohickey, one is a pink and white striped devine twine.

With the doohickey removed from behind the image.

WOW, it has been so hot here today, I had to come inside for a little while, I started to make this card yesterday, so had a little break from the sun and finished it off.

I hope that you like it and enjoy the rest of the bank holiday, here in the UK!

Take care everyone.

Besties Half Easel Love Card

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have made this Besties half easel card and for a change I didn't add any flowers to the main image section, placing them below instead.
I am loving these half easel cards at the moment and this is my second one, I won a top three spot with A Creative Romance with my previous half easel card!
I Have Just Found Out That I Am First Place Winner In The Besties Challenge With This Card Too Woohoo!!!

I coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, although the dress did not require a lot of colouring, the face and hair did. This is a gorgeous image, I just love Sherri's Besties, she is called first prom!

I adore these papers they are both from the Maja Design Sofiero collection, the two are called "Strolling down the rose garden and Enjoy the lovely Fragrance". Both are from Live and Love Crafts. I also punched two tiny butterflies from the maja papers and distressed them with DI.

Removable Heart Doohickey threaded with Sheer Ribbon, Strung Pearls and Looped satin Ribbon. I Frantaged one side, Distressed it and added a heart charm and stamped it with love on the opposite side in Rich Mocha Ink. The tag is from behind the image.

The Beautiful gathered Lace is from LLC the flowers are from the ribbon girl. I punched and distressed two little butterflies from the leftover paper and added tiny oval pearls to their bodies. So nothing went to waste, I also used magnolia butterfly paper behind the maja papers and distressed them all.

Finally, I made a large hat pin, distressed and covered on the edge butterflies with the same maja paper and frantaged heart the embellishment from LLC.

All Links to online stores are in my sidebar.

Thank you for popping by and have a lovely weekend.
Take Care, Cuddles

Practically No Lines!

Hello Everyone, I hope that your all well and having a good day. I have given my post this title as I have used a very pale ink to stamp the image, but you just about see it, so it isn't a no lines image.
I tried this paler ink to see if I can ink up a no lines image and its turned out ok.

Here is the card that I made over the last couple of days, with my new favourite image of Tilda playing on the beach!

As you can see I used frantage for the sand, DI to distress around the image and frame and added stickles to the rubber ring.
I did go around the face with my promarkers that I have used for the face and hair, I used copis for everything else!

Lots and lots of doohickeys, butterflies, flowers, beaded sprig and a gorgeous lace that I have threaded with ribbon similar to the colours of the image, which is from the ribbon girl.

The stamped "sunny day" sentiment is perfect for this image and I set it inside a Tim Holtz Ideology frame, there is also a tiny tiny fish charm on the left.
The papers are another favourite, Maja spring basics, from Live and Love Crafts.

I hope that you like my card and would love to hear some comments, as they really do make my day!!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Tilda Sea Breeze Step Card

Hello Everyone, I am doing a different layout for my post today.
I have been wanting to post this card all day, but I twisted my ankle this morning and so my lovely hubby took the pictures and loaned me his laptop! Aaw he is really looking after me!!! Such a sweetie!

I have been making step cards for years and thought that it was about time that I made another one, you can see two older ones in my side bar. I always use large tri-folding cards to make them.

I have used three Tilda's from the New Sea Breeze Collection and as it is now summer (again) I created a little summer themed, desert island scene.
I think the desert island stamp is by "make it Crafty".

So Wrapped Up Doohickey behind the image, threaded with lace and shabby seam binding and additional hand stamped Magnolia shells and sandcastle.

Tilda On The Beach, Water is slightly glazed.
Tilda Summer Bathing, I glazed the droplets on her too.
Tilda Playing On The Beach, with tye dye top.

All images coloured with copics and distress markers.

Above Left: Sailing Ship Charm, Distressed Doily With Fabric across the middle and Tilda paper. Top Right show the decorated inside of the card and Bottom Right Stamped Magnolia Doohickey.

I have used lots of little distressed Waves on the card and I think that they go quite well.
A Few Flowers and resin dove all from the ribbon girl.

I hope that you like my card and it would really make my day to hear your comments.
Take Care
