Brand New Challenge Starts Today At Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia!!!

Good afternoon everyone,

I have had a hectic week this week and as this post goes live, I am at my 7 year old nieces birthday party - of course I made her a card!

The new challenge this week at LHOSM is Spring Colours and our wonderful sponosor this week are the Fabulous The Ribbon Girl!!!

Here is my card using, Insta Tilda, of course from the www collection. I have masked her with a daisy background.
This is my very first ever stitched card, you may remember, if you saw my previous graduation Tilda post, that I told it was my second ever stitched card, this is why he he!

The stitching is a tad off, but not too bad for my first effort, I also cut out the three layers and the card layer from a Noor Design template, so that may go some way to explaining it. Took a loooong time!

How adorable is she?

Please pop over and join in the challenge, we cant wait to see what you come up and our lovely Sara will be announcing our GDT for the next challenge too!

By for now, I am off to eat Jelly and Ice Cream YUM!!!

Graduation Tilda Card

Hello Everyone,

Here is another card that I made, this time using Graduation Diploma Tilda.

In the UK all graduation gowns are black and we usually have a fur collar or something similar, so I have coloured my Graduation Tilda to match the UK colours.

I would include a picture of my graduation, but it is absolutely awful he he! Its so bad that I don't even have it on show in my house!

Anyway here is my card...

I have hand stitched Two Pieces of Pion Design and Maja Design together my second ever hand stitched card! I used a blanket stitch because I think that it looks neater than single stitch.

Most of my embellies are either from L&L Crafts or the Ribbon Girl, My two favourite stores - everyone right!
I have coloured her with copics and mounted her a couple of frames.

I hope that you are all having a good week and enjoying the beautiful weather that we are having at the moment!
I just adore spring! Planting time and bird song, I love it!

Thanks for stopping by today, take care

Celebration Tilda Easel Card

Good Morning Everyone,

Here is a card that I have spent a good few days making.
Apologies in advance, as it is quite picture heavy, I know your time is precious, so I will keep the chatting to a minimum.

I have used Celebration Tilda as my focal point and she is coloured with both Copics (skin & hair) and Prisma Pencils low odour solvent technique for everything else.

Most of the papers are from my own stash and I have also used elements from Pion Design and Maja Design.

I added liquid pearls to the bubbles and shaded around the image with a very pale lilac, using my liquid chalks.

Most of my Florals are from The Ribbon Girl.

Thank you so much for dropping by, have a lovely day!

LHOSM Challenge Starts Today!!!

Good afternoon everyone

There is a new challenge starting today at

This fortnight to team would love to see some sparkle in your creations.

I have used Frantage and we all know that has some sparkle right and used my sparkley sakura pen to colour the champagne glass.

This is Celebration Tilda from the new www range. She is coloured with DI for a change from copics.

The blue colour of her dress, is actually called shaded lilac? I also made the flowers from two of my Britannia Rose dies, I have two sizes and made them to match the gorgeous Tilda image and two tiny rose buds too.

Here is an angled picture so you can see all the sparkle both on the image and I have double embossed the frame with frantage too, to give that lovely sparkley metallic effect.

I have used Maja Design sofiero papers and the butterflies are elements from Pion Design (border papers) and the scrummy lace all from L&L Crafts along with a 3 Key charm  too!

The prize this week is a GDT spot up for grabs, so pop along and join in our challenge, we cant wait to see all of your stunning creations!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great week.

Three www Masked Tilda Beach Scene

Hiya Everyone

Here is my masked card featuring three of the lovely new Tilda's.
I have created a beach theme, as summer is just around the corner and the weather has been super sunny here in UK lately!

Everything is coloured with copics and I added a little promarker to the skin, to create slightly different tones.

Both sections are layered onto ornate panels, that I think look quite nautical too!

I made these shabby layered flowers to match and added a little wave border, sea shell and flip flop shoe charm to keep to the theme.

I also die cut this doohickey tag, attached another smaller flower and tied a cute little ribbon bow. Obviously, the cloud and bridal bow are both magnolia with a large bling in the middle of the bow, from the Ribbon Girl.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you have a great week.
Take Care, Cuddles

Monochrome Image Card

Hiya Everyone

Here is a card that I have made for my lovely sister in law Kate's 30th Birthday.

The image is called Mornings, by Jeremiah Ketner and is available here.. This is my very first monochrome colouring that I have ever done. I used copics, mostly cool greys with a touch of warm greys to the hair and lips. The image is really large at 5 1/4" as it is such a beautiful piece of art work by the artist, I wanted to show it off to its full effect in a larger size.

I have used some of my own vintage papers from my goodies and the rolled roses from the ribbon girl, as well as beaded twigs, wooden button and ribbon they sell in their store too!!!

I am disappointed with the photo, we have really over cast and dull weather at the moment and the shading isn't showing up too good. I may take another picture, if the weather perks up soon.

Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the Easter holidays.
