Midway post for Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge

Hello everyone

As you may already be aware, this is sadly our final midway post for
Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia.

It has been such a privilege to be part of this wonderful team.

I hope that you will enter our challenge this final time.

We are thrilled to have Tracey at Craftezee sponsoring us
and she is offering a £10 gift voucher to spend in her store,
a great way to stock up on your Christmas goodies he he!

I have made a fairy door for my creation, as I wanted to do something different on the last post and have kept the pictures to a minimum, as I know that we are all busy.

Many Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a lovely weekend.

Vintage Bauble, Card/Bag Topper or Gift Tag

Happy Sunday Everyone

I have seen these style of toppers around for many
years and decided to try my hand at making a few.

This is my first completed one and I have another few, which are part done, which I will pop back with when they are finished.

I am quite pleased with how it tuned out.

They are pretty simple to do, I die my circles to 10cm, from 4 layers of thick white card.

10cm is a good size for a variety of uses, i.e. card or gift bag topper, gift tag or simply a bauble for Christmas.

I wrapped the natural hemp twine to give me a frame and die cut lots of lovely wintery leaves from my DPs, the scrapinec baubles are also tied with the same twine.

The cones have been dry brushed with gesso and I made the poinsettia's from foamiran, the wooden Merry Christmas is from my crafty stash.

I wanted to bring out the green in the colour scheme, so added the seam binding bow.

There is also a little rusty bell at the top of the baubles and there are several dabs of gold glitter glue to add a little Christmas sparkle.

Today is our last challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia, we would love you to pop over and join in and you have a chance to win a voucher from lovely Tracy at Noor Design UK!!!

Have a lovely day, Crafty Cuddles
