New Challenge Begins Today @ Marvellous Magnolia!

Good afternoon everyone,

 today is the start of a brand new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia Challenge and our fantastic sponsors this fortnight are Magnolia Liscious!!!

The theme is use Kraft Paper.

This is not my usual style of card, but I wanted to show you some of my new dies that arrived today in my Magnolia Doohickey club. 

There are a lot that will be just perfect for autumn and lots that I can use right now he he! I also bought the doohickey projector reel direct from Magnolia and it is just perfect for this Insta Tilda Image.

Aren't these little toad stools and long grasses fab!!!

These beautiful flowers are from Lemon craft - so lush!

The papers are Pion design with a Kraft La La Land die cut, to fit the theme.

Hello Everyone, 

Our brand new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia starts today!

The theme this time around is Pearls or Gems and our wonderful sponsor is a popular favourite... the Ribbon Girl!

I have made a mini milk carton from the Dutch Doobadoo template and covered it with Wet Paint papers and some from my own stash!

I coloured up Tilda with knee socks from the 2015 Sakura Range, with copics  added a few doohickeys, Florals and bling.

I stained my own shabby seam binding with DI's to match the colour scheme.

I also made the hand made pearl pin and die cut the bridal bow doohickey to match.

Something a little different

Happy Saturday Everyone, 

Yesterday I coloured up this sweet image as I fancied a change!!!

Its quite a simple card and I cut out all the layers with my dies.

Isn't she just beautiful, I just love her hair, so I mainly concentrated on colouring that up and less focus on the clothes. As I wanted her hair to stand out and I did something totally new for me and added dots throughout some lengths to pick out the layers.

I probably could have blended the forehead a bit more, but I didnt want to mess about with it too much, its not too bad in real life he he!

Anyway here is my simple card

I put her on to the card at a bit of a jaunty angle!

I gave her an implied nose, just enough shading to imply one, not very dark as I like this effect.

The papers are my new much loved wet paint, the unusual gingham ribbon is from the ribbon girl and of course the flowers are WOC! The beautiful pearl string and button are from L&L Crafts.

I wanted a fresher looking card this time and I am quite pleased with it. Thank you for dropping by today and enjoy your weekend!

Our Brand new challenge starts today at Marvelous Magnolia and theme this time around is Ribbon or Twine.

I made this card and used both Ribbon and Natural Hemp Twine and I coloured up Tilda and Angel the horse with Copics.

The beautiful papers are Pion design and Maja design with a white hand cut boarder around the inner layer.

There is even a little apple in my florals for her horse he he!! I have used Tim Holtz Ideology wording inside the little frame which reads First Place and unique crafts Chipboard happy birthday sentiment.

A card I made for fun with Flower Tiara Tilda!

Hello Everyone

Here is a card that I made for fun, using Tilda with flower Tiara from the new Sakura Range.

She has a little heart and a dot in her right eye, but I thought it just looks a little odd, so I coloured over it, suppose it is up to personal preference.

I coloured her up with copics and stamped some extra little grasses around her feet to add a bit of interest.

 The gorgeous cream lace is from Jules House Of Ribbons who is also currently sponsoring our challenge over at LHOSM, pop over today and you could win a £10 voucher to spend in store, the theme is use a die cut, so easy!

My layers of papers are Wet Paint pad available at Scrap and Craft Store  and Pion Design Vintage Garden and this paper is called Pink Ornament, so pretty and I hand cut a white border around this paper.

The sentiment is LOTV and was part of a duo stamp set that I bought many years ago. 

The gorgeous pink lace is from L&L Crafts and I added a little chipboard swirl to the left hand side of my WOC flower arrangement.

Check out this beautiful rhinestone humming bird charm, utterly stunning!

How are, I hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine, its been a bit of a mixed bag of weather here in the UK, but today is beautifully sunny!!!

Here is my card and I have used Jules House Of Ribbons gorgeous eye lash lace to embellish my card...

I have coloured up Sakura Tild with Copics. Mainly VOOO VO1, V04 and VO6, I have used C1 to C7 for her hair.

With the insert removed.

Isn't this anemone paper just divine!!!

The main card layer is Pion Design and its Syringa from my precious daughter range. Tilda is maked with Maja Design Flowers on the table papers, with mixed florals from The Ribbon Girl, Live and Love Crafts and WOC.

I have used Two go create dies to kreate the card base, from the same Maja Design paper and most of my dies cuts are Joy Craft. 

I coloured in my pearl trims with my copics and added some beautiful pink guipure lace and some stunning large roses from WOC.

A Different Card For Me!!!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Here is a card that I have been wanting to make for some time!

I die cut all of the elements from pearlised star dream card stock and distressed everything 

I also made the four rolled roses, which explains the slightly different sizes he he!

I am quite pleased how it turned out, unfortunately the sun light let me down when I was photo graphing it, I will try and do more if the weather perks up.

This is for all the thoughtful ladies who have contacted me recently to see how I am coming along, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your kindness, it really means alot to me xxxx

As some of you know I suffered a badly broken leg recently and I am still recovering over four months on. I have ALOT  of metal work inside my leg and recently it has been causing me trouble, so in a months time I will be discussing with my surgeon whether to remove it all or not. I am getting about albeit it painfully, but at least I can walk again and for that I will be eternally grateful to my surgeon, who is a woman by the way he he!

So,to cut a very long story short I am probably looking at another 3 months recovery - groan. Our daughter is now home from university for the summer and she is worth her weight in gold, nothing is too much trouble and I am so proud of her finishing her first year at university, she is a chip off the old block he he!!!

Here is my card, I went with a bow and made a summer scene step card, using my trusty scor pal board...

Here is Cute Sakura Tilda, masked with a Molly Bloom background and Insta Tilda, all coloured up with Copics.

The masked Image is framed by beautiful Maja Design Paper and an extra large square doily. The lace and ribbon are both available at The Ribbon Girl.

How utterly gorgeous are these magnolia and apple blossom florals from WOC? I have also used large roses, mini roses and rose buds in two sizes and a frosted berry, camera charm, I also made a pearl and crystal hat pin too!

The gorgeous paper and most of my dies are Joy Craft!

Golden Week Tilda Easel Card

Hiya Everyone one,

Second post from me today, this time I made this card for fun! Using Golden Week Tilda and she is all coloured up with Copics. 

I decided to go with softer colours with her and the flowers and papers match beautifully!

I have use two gorgeous papers, called Wet Paint that I recently discovered at Scrap and Craft, where I also bought the decorative chip board lantern too.

Isnt she adorable!!!

All 3 lace, white pearl trim and Maja Design borders are available from Live and Love Crafts.

The Happy Birthday chip board wording is from Unique Crafts.

I also cut my 3D Joy Craft butterflies & decorative borders from Maja Design Sofiero Paper. The scrummy flowers are Wild Rose, Apple blossom and Magnolia flowers all from WOC.

Brand New Challenge Starts Today @ LHOSM!

Today is the first day of a brand new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge!

The theme this week is flowers easy hey!

Our Fantastic sponsors for this fortnights challenge is Live & Love Crafts, one of my favorite stores, they sell an outstanding range of beautiful vintage crafting goodies, but I think we all know that he he!!!

Well here is my card, I thought that it would be fun to add a good mix of different flowers, but I think that I went a bit crazy, but what good fun I had making it!

So I coloured up Tilda with Rose Basket with Copics and added a few of my new Joy craft Die Cuts, beautiful lace and ribbon and papers are Pion Design. 

The Stunning Triple  Pearl Trim is cut from a very large pearl sheet and is available Here!

Here you can see that I have added WOC rose buds and rolled roses

aswell as frosted pomegranate apples, frosted stamins, shabby chic heart, hand made roses cut from pion script paper and beaded berry spray all available from Live and Love Crafts!
 The cute Happy Birthday chip board wording is from Unique Crafts, I just love these sweet little sentiments!

My first DT post for Marvelous Magnolia!!! and a new challenge!

Good Morning Everyone

I am so excited to tell you that this is my very first DT post with the talented team at Marvelous Magnolia!!!

When Rina asked to apply to the DT call, well how could I refuse?

The wonderful sponsor this 2 week challenge are Stamp & Create, with a wonderful prize on offer!!! They stock so many beautiful items, including magnolia and Edwin stamps!

The theme for this fortnight long challenge is Vintage, I didn't really want to go with the traditional browns and beige usually associated with vintage, so chose to go with a deep pink and burgundy, with lots of distressing.

Apologies in advance as it is a bit picture heavy!

Front vintage rose papers are from my own goodies, back layer is Maja design sofiero paper. With Maja so wrapped up doohickey, with matching satin ribbon and large butterfly charm.

She is coloured with Copics and distressed with DI and shabby pink frantage.

Large pink crystal embellishment and ideology pin holding sentiment. You can also see the cheese cloth, strung pearls and guipure lace peeking out behind the image

Flowers and Berries & Pink Lace from Ribbon Girl, Live and Love Crafts & WOC!

There is also a shabby bark heart at the back and some little brown stamens peeking out too.
