Butterfly dreams Tilda - Daydream
Good Day Everyone, I hope that your enjoying the weekend and have been lucky enough to have had some time to craft. Wow, how the time flies, already into March!!! Been lovely here today, nice and sunny.
Now this is a first for me, I have coloured the entire masked images with prisma pencils, using the low odour solvent technique. With my other cards, I generally colour everything with the pencils, except the hair and skin and for me, I find the best effect is pro markers (just my opinion). But I thought that I would give the hair and skin a go, so I did a couple of trials and then used this method on this image, its turned out not too bad, but it did take a really long time to colour and blend.
Both Tilda and the stone path are from the butterfly dreams collection, both available at sir stampalot.
So I made this card using Tilda Paper and the pink daisy top layer is from my personal goodies. Most of the florals are from the ribbon girl, you can find the link in my side bar, others florals are from wild orchid, but I have just recieved the beautiful poppies from live and love crafts, you can find their link on the side bar too and just couldnt wait to use them, they are just gorgeous!
The sentiment wrapped wooden spool is from L&Love Crafts, as are the new flower sprays, which is on the bottom right hand side photo above and lovely cluny lace from the same store and the Daydream Sentiment Is LOTV. All elements are distressed with Ranger Distress Inks.
I have also used cheesecloth and metal corner from Wild Orchid Crafts, I think thats everything phew!
I hope that you like my creation.
Thanks for dropping by.
