I have gone with the option of creating an Easter card. I have used little miss Tilda and coloured her DI's, she is so super cute!!!

Here is a basic little card, I have used dressed for festivity Tilda and added a few magnolia feathers and bridal bow.

 

I made the little rolled roses from Pion colour palette card stock and I think the sentiment is perfect for this little lady.

I have made an Easter card

 

 

How adorable is she???

Obviously I just had to make an Easter card with little miss Tilda.

I don't make Easter cards often, so it was a challenge for me.

 

 

I have hand cut all the layers, using a Dutch Doobadoo template and added a Magnolia bunny and bunny border Die cuts.

 

The little eggs are from my crafty stash and the stunning Designer papers and egg border are pion and Maja design.

I have added one or two to my card he he!

 

 

I thought that I would make a vintage card for a change, I bought this gorgeous image a while ago form Live and Love Crafts and I have finally gotten around to using one, so expect more in the future he he!!!

 

 

The gorgeous florals are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts, lets face it girls, we just couldn't live with out them!!!

 

I added a little stamped tag in a pink vellum sleeve behind the image and the lace is from my crafty stash and I trimmed it down a little.

Hello everyone

 

Today is our midway post for Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge!

We are currently running an Anything Goes themed challenge and are thrilled to be sponsored by the fabulous

Here is my card...

 

I have used Okay Tilda and coloured her with Copics and stamped Bravo next to her. I absolutely adore her!!!

 

My gorgeous DP are Craft You and pion design, I couldn't resist using two and cut a thin paper border to separate them. 

 

My flowers are from our Wonderful Sponsors store and I dyed the two sweet heart blossoms pale green with my DI's, I have used some lace too, which is peeking out from underneath the flowers!!!

I wanted to keep the image clean this time and I haven't used a green and pink colour combo for some time, it works so well together.

I have used 'Made with love Tilda', from the valentines collection, however I think that she is equally good for birthdays too!

 

 

I have coloured her with copics and I have used stunning Maja design papers, Wild orchid roses and the gorgeous seam binding ribbon, cheese cloth and lace, are all available from my teamie Jules ebay shop!

 

 The little fork charm is perfect for the theme and I have added some lovely pearl decoration to the lace!

Here is my card, I have used Dressed For Festivity Tilda and I have coloured her with Distress Inks.

 

 

My papers are Craft and You - Vintage Time

I just love the selection of papers available in this pad!

I have also added some pearl spray in grey and pink to match her

shoes and dress.

Painted up a metal butterfly with Gesso and added some pearls.

 

 

I have also used 25mm wild roses and made a pink foamiran rose bud, the flowers and foamiran are also available at The Ribbon Girl store.

Hello Everyone

 

Marvelous Magnolia

returns today after our winter break!

  

Our theme for the next month is

LOVE IS...

 

Nice and easy this time of year!!!

 

For my card I have used Lovely Rose Tilda.

 

 

I have coloured her with distress inks and stamped the sentiment and post marks from my Stampelglede follow your heart stamp collection.

 

I have included a little heart paper clip and attached a 3D Eiffel tower and a matching chipboard one too!

 

The foamiran flowers are made using a magnolia die and a small rose bud die, they are each several layers to give dimension.

 

The gorgeous papers are lemon craft and this stunning lace is available at Noor Design UK!!!

Foamiran Christmas Decoration

 

Hiya Everyone,

I hope that you are all set for Christmas? This month is very hectic for me and I haven't had a lot of time to craft.
I have a little project that I would like to share with you.

 

I purchased a few MDF hearts and other shapes from ebay a while ago to spend some time crafting with my daughter. Ashleigh will be home from university soon and we wanted to create a few, home made Christmas tree decorations for our new Christmas Tree.

We didn't have a tree last year, as I had just had another operation on my leg and needed the Christmas tree space, for my walking aid and wheel chair.

 

Anyway, enough of me Waffling on he he.
I discovered Foamiran on Noor Design and thought I would try out a sheet to see if I liked it.
Well....I am now addicted and have ordered more sheets in different colours, I really urge you to try it out!
There are lots of tutorials on Youtube to give you an idea of what you can make.

 

 A peek at all the layers!

 

 

I made this large poinsettia, from one of my dies, Marianne dies I think. It is six layers, I distressed it a little and added a few pearl stamens and lovely bling. It is the perfect size for my MDF heart, which I covered with Maja Christmas paper.

 

I also made the little Christmas branches, I cut a strip of paper and snipped it right along one of the longer edges and glued it to a piece of stiff wire and carefully wrapped it around the wire, to the bottom and hey presto you have a little Christmas branch!!!

New Challenge at Marvelous Magnolia

 

Hello Everyone,

 

I am here today to tell you about the new challenge theme over at

 Marvelous Magnolia and the new theme is Anything Christmas.

So if you haven't had chance to finish all of your Christmas cards, its a great opportunity to  catch up and make a card or two for our challenge he he!

I have coloured up Tilda with Little Rudolph with Copics. I like to mix my colouring mediums, some times using DI's and Prisma Pencils on occasion too!

Here is my card...

 

 

I have used Maja design papers, and obviously WOC florals. I have flocked Tilda's coat to imitate fur and stamped a few extra snow flakes around her.

 

I am loving all these hessian ribbons at the moment, they are just divine. The bling in the middle of the bow is from Live and Love Crafts, so is the chipboard sentiment and the gorgeous ivory pleated netting is from Noor Design.

New Challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge

I am a little late with my post, I've had an extremely busy week!

Ice/ Snow

Here is my card...

 

I have coloured Tilda in Cozy Coat and the old Swedish church background with copics.

 

 

I've added lots of texture to the snow using my wow powder, stickles glitter glue, fine glitter, diamond dust and finally liquid snow! I also added flocking to Tilda's coat, to imitate fur!

 

My chipboard wording and snowflake border are available from our sponsor.

 

 

I have tied two little cinnamon sticks and added lots of beautiful florals and lace.

New Challenge at Marvelous Magnolia

Good Morning,

 

We have a brand new challenge for you over at Marvelous Magnolia!

 

The ever popular easy peasy theme is Anything Goes!!!

 

We would love to see your wonderful creations and look forward to look through all of your scrummy blogs!!!

 

Here is my card, I have used one of this years valentines Tildas, which I thought would be equally ideal for Christmas as well as valentines.

She is called Miracle Tilda!

 

I have coloured her with DI's used lots of scrummy roses, including the stunning patterned prima roses. You can see a tiny Prima clock and many gorgeous designer papers.

 

I have glittered a few chipboard snowflakes and pine cones and added a cute chipboard Let it Snow sentiment.

You may be able to just make out the pink and blue shading around Tilda and I used distressed stickles for her wings, which isn't quite as sparkly as regular stickles!
