Magnolia Tilda With Ugg Shoes

Hi Everyone, Wishing you all a lovely choclately easter, I am giving my daughter a huge Thorntons Egg in the morning, that she doesnt know about! Its hard trying to keep a suprise for an 18 year old hee hee!  Have A Great Day!

I made this card using Tilda With Ugg Shoes, from the Australian Collection from last year, I havent used her for a while, she is a super cutie! I coloured her with pro markers and distress inks, I love distress inks, they are soo easy to work with. I also water coloured a sky with DI, but its not really showing up, I will pop on another pic tomorrow, it will hopefully show up in sunlight???

Now, this is the part where I always say that most of my florals are from the ribbon girl, Wild Orchid Or Live & Love Crafts, which they mainly are on the right hand side of the card. But today I have used Cherry blossoms on the left hand side of card and they are from Hobby House, they have an extensive collection of unusual shades of Cherry Blossoms & Roses. They are also currently have a yummy give away and the link is in my side bar to join in! You can also access the shop from there too.

All the beautiful papers are of course Magnolia Tilda (another usual for me hee hee) and Colour Core Card, that I have distressed.
I have sentiment wrapped a little wooden spool and I bought the cute little ladybird Button From Hobby Craft Too, I distressed it a little and decided not to thread it, so you can see it clearly.

I've used some shabby seam binding and cheesecloth, both L&L Crafts, Die Cut A Glitter Vellum Butterfly and distressed A Craft So Wrapped Up Tilda Heart Tag, the inside of the card, is also designed to compliment the front of the card too!

Thank you for dropping by my little blog.
Take care, Hugs Jay x

Terracotta Magnolia Easel Card

As you can see the colour has varied according to the light, the picture above is the truest colour to the actual card, whilst the card below is slightly darker.

Hi Everyone, I thought that I would make an easel card for a change and also use a peachy/terracotta colour combination, that I do not use often, so I thought that it would be a nice change to combine both.

I have used both the full size and mini Tilda with Butterfly Dress, for this easel Card, the die cut Tilda tag is removable from the main card and embellished with shabby seam binding and pearls. This is one of my favourite stamps, as it was one of the first that I bought, I bought the mini stamp around a year later to use together, so it has been a long time coming (using them together!).

The Stunning papers are Magnolia from the summer collection and Signs Of Spring Pion Papers and I have used a thick glitter embossed paper across the central panel.

I have used on the edge die cuts, which are double layered, so that the wings can be the wings of the top set can be lifted up and most of the florals are from the Ribbon Girl and Live & Love Crafts, as are the shabby seam binding, Venice Petite lace and the mini bark heart on the left hand side of the card.

I designed the base layer to be distressed, so cut out a double layer magnolia flower, from colour core card (which as the name suggests, has a different coloured core). I sanded then shaped the flowers  and used a diamonte button in the centre. The Two Ovals Were embossed and I creased the cream layer to give a crinkled effect, they were then distressed with liquid chalk.
I thought that using some skeleton leaves, was a nice change too and adds a lovely effect to the base. Included is one of my hand made pins, with a tiny butterfly charm attached, which I made myself and I distressed some of the white flowers with dried marigold distress inks.

I hope that you like my card and thank you for dropping by my little blog.

Hugs

Easter Bunny Magnolia Tilda Card

With the removable tilda tag.

The Above Image is with the tag taken out, you can view the tag below in
the four picture collage!

Loving this textured Card Stock!

Hi to everyone visiting my blog.

I will add a post when I have joined Bloglovin x

So now onto todays card, I love this easter Tilda, I did colour two different Easter Tildas, but decided that I prefered this one, as I masked the tilda with basket of eggs onto an Egg  background, but decided to use this little Tilda instead. She is coloured with distress inks and both papers, inside and out are from magnolia tilda. All of the coloured card is 6" Colour Core, which has a different colour inside when sanded or torn, I have used the  sanded effect on the circle inside the card.

The card also includes a removable "So Wrapped Swirley" Magnolia Tilda Doohickey, I have used a tilda stamp to stamp the sentiment and put it across the doohickey in a banner style and added cotton lace threaded with sheer ribbon and pearl string to the tag! (all hand stitched into place).

The card is decorated with beautiful florals from Wild Orchid, Live & Love Crafts and the Ribbon girl (links in my side bar), I have added one of my own hand made pins and a beautiful distresssed fabric bow with large pearl brad to the centre. I think that the white organza rose trim is from Wild Orchid Too!

Thank you for droppin by my little blog, I do hope that you like my card!

Something Different From The Chatsworth Vintage Collection

Hello Everyone,
What a day, I havent had the internet all day, as there are repairs being carried out in my area. Its back on for now so I will have to be quick about this post in case I lose connection again!

I wanted to make something different and I have had a book of beautiful Chatsworth Vintage Papers and matching Stamps for quite a while now, so I made this card from their papers and stamps.

The papers are beautiful and have a linen texture to them. I have used only the stamps to create the centre piece and the greeting and my spellbinders dies to cut them out. The interior of the card is also made from the same paper and designed to match the front of the card. The beautiful florals are mainly from Wild Orchid and added just a few to keep it simple and clean, as my Magnolia Cards usually have lots of different florals and other embellishments, so this was a also a change for me.

The backing paper appears more purple in the photo than it actually is, the backing paper is more of a burgundy, not purple as it appears, very stange, as the rest of the colours are true to the card!

I have hand stitched the bow and the sentiment is mounted on a Tim Holtz Pin, the lovely charm has a deep burgundy centre and fits the theme & pattern very well.

I hope that you like this card, I enjoyed making it myself lol !

Thank you for popping by my little blog.

Tilda with magic wand card

Hello all you crafty peeps out there, Thank goodness its almost the weekend, where did this week go, it feels like it zipped past!

I just popped onto to show my new card, as I am dashing out.

I have made this card, using Tilda With Wand, I coloured her with Promarkers for the skin and hair and Copics for the rest, I also highlighted the top filmy layer of her dress with Sakura Sparkle to add a bit more definition.

Most of the beautiful florals are from either the Ribbon Girl, Live & Love Crafts Or Wild Orchid, you can find the link for the first two lovely shops in my side bar. I'm still loving the poppies from L&L Crafts, Ive used two and distressed them a little with paint.

The Top Layer of Paper Is Magnolia with  a lovely muted blue paper from Dove Craft. I have added a little  baby blue lace and I am loving the gauzy ribbon, from L&L Crafts, its very moorish and unusual, I just had to have some when I saw it, its on sale now too!

The inside is decorated to compliment the front and stamped with a "Feel The Magic! sentiment.

The last thing to add is that there is also a Kraft card Magnolia Doohickey, which is distressed and stamped with a LOTV sentiment and threaded with pearls, ribbon and cotton lace!

Have a fab weekend everyone and thanks very much for dropping by my little blog.

Masked Tilda Sewing A Blue Berry Blanket

Hello Everyone, Happy Mothers Day!

This is my latest masked Tilda, I say my latest, as I think that I am going through a bit of a masking phase lately, but I like the effect of this one, I bought the stamp a few years ago at a local craft fair, but I cant remember what it is called, but it goes well with Tilda.

I have coloured the whole image with distress inks, which is rare for me, as I prefer to use promarkers for the skin & hair, but I thought that I would have a change.

Anyway, enough waffling. The top layer of paper is of course Tilda, All my flowers are from Wild Orchid or The Ribbon Girl and I have used a Singer sewing machine charm, I think its from the ribbon girl too. You can find the link for the ribbon girl in my side bar.

I have used a couple of my own hand made pins and used two of the cutest little cotton reels, one wrapped with cotton and one wrapped with So Sweet sentiment from LOTV. I've also used some cheesecloth, from wild orchid, as is the large metal corner and threaded a couple of buttons.

I hope that you like my creation and thank you for taking the time to drop by my blog.

Butterfly dreams Tilda - Daydream

Good Day Everyone, I hope that your enjoying the weekend and have been lucky enough to have had some time to craft.  Wow, how the time flies, already into March!!! Been lovely here today, nice and sunny.

Now this is a first for me, I have coloured the entire masked images with prisma pencils, using the low odour solvent technique. With my other cards, I generally colour everything with the pencils, except the hair and skin and for me, I find the best effect is pro markers (just my opinion). But I thought that I would give the hair and skin a go, so I did a couple of trials and then used this method on this image, its turned out not too bad, but it did take a really long time to colour and blend.

Both Tilda and the stone path are from the butterfly dreams collection, both available at sir stampalot.

So I made this card using Tilda Paper and the pink daisy top layer is from my personal goodies. Most of the florals are from the ribbon girl, you can find the link in my side bar, others  florals are from wild orchid, but I have just recieved the beautiful poppies from live and love crafts, you can find their link on the side bar too and just couldnt wait to use them, they are just gorgeous!

The sentiment wrapped wooden spool is from L&Love Crafts, as are the new flower sprays, which is on the bottom right hand side photo above and lovely cluny lace from the same store and the Daydream Sentiment Is LOTV. All elements are distressed with Ranger Distress Inks.

I have also used cheesecloth and metal corner from Wild Orchid Crafts, I think thats everything phew!

I hope that you like my creation.

Thanks for dropping by.
