Tilda Shaker Card

Hello Everyone, I hope your enjoying the weekend. Its freezing cold here today in the UK, the perfect excuse for staying in with a hot cuppa and making cards, so here is mine!!!

As you can see, I have used two of the new edition Tildas. I coloured them both with Prisma pencils, using the LOS Technique.

I also finally found a use for the little polystyrene balls that come off the Flower Sprays that are from Live and Love Crafts. I knew they would stick to the inside of the acetate, due to the static, so they look like 3D falling snow! Of course I also added glitter too hee hee! Its just not christmas without it!!!

This was a hard card for me to make, as I usually love to use flowers, but the Pion paper is just too pretty to cover up.
So I've kept it simple with an on the edge sparkling snowflake border and a pretty bow created from beautiful Aqua Satin Ribbon & lace from the Ribbon Girl, with just a few glittery snowflakes dotted about!

I hope that you like my card and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Take care

3D Round Tilda Card

Welcome Everyone,
Just popped on to show you my new card.

Both Tilda and the snowey door background where coloured with Primas pencils, using the LOS technique, which is my favourite!

I have distressed the trees with DI, then Frantaged them and finally added applique for snow phew!!!

The shabby roses are from the ribbon girl and everything else is from Live and love crafts, both links in my sidebar.

I used applique for the snow, but sprinkled glass glitter over it while it was still wet to add sparkle and texture.

The template is available here at Sandra's on line store. As the card is quite deep, I have tied it around the outside with shabby seam binding and tied it in a bow at the top.
The paper is Pion.

Thank you for dropping by and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Feel the magic!

Good Day Everyone,

Here is my most recent card using an old favourite of mine! She is called magical Tilda with wand.
I get the feeling that she has a beautiful chiffon overlay or top layer to her dress, well, its kinda obvious really, so I have therefore tried to reflect this in my colouring.

This is one of my little hand made pins, that you often see in my cards.

I have coloured her with distress inks and added some little folds to the chiffon colouring.
The little tag is hand made and is suspended from Tim Holtz ideology pin.

I absolutely adore the vintage Autumn basics papers from Maja, they are just stunning.
I felt the little distressed leaf sprays were ideal for this tilda and I have made another of my favourites, tiny butterflies with pearl bodies, they are very sweet.

It is the first time that I have used this bunting, I've distressed it and added a dab of frantage and the same with the little resin dove.

Most of my flowers are from the Ribbon girl, with a two tone cherry blossom from The hobby house.

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a fab week.
Take care Jay xxx

My First Ever Book Card?

Hello Again Everyone,

I have another card to share with you, this time I have made my first ever book card.

I'm not a 100% sure, that is the exact name, but you will know what I mean when you look at it hee hee!

The first two picture are of the outside of the book and in the second you can see a slight glint in the top right hand corner, as I have used acetate to create a window.
I have used two lovely little angels from last years nativity collection, they are both coloured with promarkers and prisma pencils, with added stickles.

This photo is of the inside, I have used Magnolia Swedish Lace Borders and Corners and distressed them in Tea Dye and Bundled Sage.
Peaceful Tilda is from the new collection and is stamped with desert sands pale cream ink and is coloured with promarkers and prisma pencils.
I have added a little sparkle with stickles and all the florals are from either the ribbon girl, L&L Crafts or Wild Orchid.

I made the little tassel myself and the book ties on the side with white satin ribbon! Which I think really finishes the design.

I hope that you like my creation.
Take Care

New Card For Fashionista Magnolia & More Challenge

Hello Everyone, Here is my card for the Fashionista "Magnolia and More" Challenge, which has a new theme this time around and it is Christmas Bling It On...

Except it isn't just a card, it is a 2 drawer card! I was thinking of making it into an easel card on the top, but I like the way it turned out, its funny how, you can start off with one idea and the finished product is similar but something else hee hee!
I've used the new North Pole Tilda and added a snowy sign, which is a digi. So yes, I had to cut her out, hair and all!
The beautiful Taffeta Bow with large crystal in the center, & pearls around the image, all from the ribbon girl. The corners are from Wild orchid and I have used two little green diamontee brads, for the drawer handles on the card, but they push through from the back.

Onto our challenge, we would love you to pop over and join our challenge, we have 2 fabulous sponsors and you have two chances of winning a shopping spree in their online craft shops. Candy Canes Christmas Saturated Canary

Hello Everyone, I have had a real busy week and didn't have chance to make a card, I sorta made this one over the week!

The beautiful image is by the lovely Krista Smith and she is called Candy Canes, I have stamped her with Tuxedo black ink.
I coloured her skin using promarkers and Copics and prisma pencils for everything else. I haven't used colours for the hair before, but wanted to give it a go, so I used Copics and for the darker shadows, I used prisma pencils. I used Prima's "say it with pearls" along the edge of the image, it also has cute little fimo roses as part of the design and really adds that little touch of bling!

For a change from Maja papers, the red paper is from Magnolia and the top paper is from the Joyeaux Noel collection. I made all of the rolled roses from colour core card, distressing them first and then cutting them, makes really beautiful distressed roses.
All the other embellishments are from my own stash of goodies!!!

Have A Fab Weekend and Don't forget to pop over to The Fashionista Challenge on Monday for Our Peoples Choice Winner and A Brand New Challenge!

Hey everyone, I hope your all well.

I have made this card with New Year Sakura Tilda and the shabby which roses are just to sigh for hee hee!

I wanted to have a break from making Christmas cards and this little lovely is in the new Christmas Set, so sort of Ironic, but she is a new years Tilda and I just love the little wink she is giving! Sooo Cute!

I have coloured her skin and hair with promarkers and everything else is with Copics and added some sparkle around the edges with Frantage.

The Stunning roses, lace and gysophillia are all from the ribbon girl, I have made a large handmade pin to compliment the colour scheme and I just adore this "Gemma" dusky pink lace.

I have also used A stunning pink diamontee embellishment, which is just stunning!

Practically No Lines In The Snow Scarf Tilda

Hello Again Everyone,
I hope that your all having a good day and week so far.

I have called this Tilda card practically no lines, as I have used a very faint stamp to stamp this lovely new scarf Tilda Image. I have coloured her with Prisma pencils LOS Technique and used Promarkers for the skin and hair.

There are little pefect pearls snowflakes, Diamond Dust Heart Shaped Snowball and Floral Scene Snow, all distressed around the edge of the image and with a lovely new release frame.

Practically all the gorgeous florals are from the Ribbon girl, as is the stunning Abigail Cream lace across the center of my card.
I love this Gypsophalia as it is little wired branches and can be shaped, I shaped mine into a slight half oval. (link in my side bar for online store)

The papers are Maja Spring Basics and distressed colour core card and a piece from my own goodies.

I made a little pearl crystal pin (on the right) and two layer snowflakes! I have also added a brown Tilda Tag, Embellished with deep golden berries and ribbon.

Thank you for dropping by and have a fab week!
Take care

Besties "Sitting Pretty" Background Topper

Hello Everyone,
I hope that your all having a good weekend.

I have made a few darker cards lately, so I thought that I would make something colourful & girly  for a change. So I used sherri Baldys "Sitting Pretty Besite" which I think is really cute and you can find her here.

Don't forget that October is breast cancer awareness month, so here is my pink creation.

I have coloured her with promarkers for the skin and hair and added a hint of spectrum noire, to add a little auburn and golden accents. I have coloured the image with Prisma pencils, using the low odour solvent technique, which is my favourite!!! The papers are magnolia and colour core card, which I haven't sanded for a change hee hee!

I simply adore this crispy ribbon, I've got almost every colour!!!
The ribbon & doilie are from Live & Love Crafts and the pom poms are from the ribbon girl (links in my side bar to both on line stores.
The Cherry blossoms in the top right hand corner are from the hobby house, which are quite unusual colours, for cherry blossoms.

All the rest of the embellies are from my stash of goodies!

Thank you for popping by and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Shabby Chic Saturated Canary Card

Afternoon Everyone,

Ooh you can really feel autumn creeping in here in the UK, the weather fits my card perfectly!

I love this image by Krista Smith, her name is Sabrina, but I really think that she looks a lot like Cinderella to me?

I have coloured her with prisma pencils using the low odour solvent technique, which is my absolute favourite and promarkers for the skin and hair, again another favourite hee hee!

The papers are all Maja Autumn Basics, the new range is stunning and the inside is decorated with the same paper and a large ornate oval - you know the one I mean!

All the flowers and most of the embellishments are either from the ribbon girl or live and love crafts, both links to online stores can be found in my sidebar.

I simply adore the so wrapped up doohickeys, this one is removable and threaded with ribbons, lace and a tiny
button charm, which is adorable!

A different Christmas Card For Me

Hi Everyone, I wanted to pop along and show you my card.
I felt like making a Christmas card, but not one with lots of sparkly bits. I think that this one is quite grown up and I love the cute Tilda image too.

Its quite a different design for me and even more different because I used my copics to colour the image.

I really wanted to make some xmas cards so I had a shop at Live and Love Crafts and bought the lovely berries and mini fair cone and lots of beautiful papers. This one is called Joyful and is from
Maja Design’s Christmas Collection 2012, I also used the border on the reverse of the paper.
I think the ribbon and pom poms are from the ribbon girl and organza rose trim is from Live and Love Crafts too.

Thank you for popping by my blog and have a good day.
Take Care,
