Post Card from Paris

Hiya Everyone

My daughter is off to Paris with her university at the end of the week and I said not to forget to send us a post card. It got me thinking, does anyone actually do that any more?

I used to get writers cramp, writing to everyone when I was younger, but now with modern technology, I don't think anyone does that anymore.

Therefore I dedicate this card, to the long lost tradition of writing post cards he he!

I coloured both Tildas from the we did it collection, with copics. I used my post card stamp at the top and added a couple of post marks.
The cute paper clip is from Craft Heaven shop and so are the chipboard circles peeking out at the corners of the image.

I made my own hand made pin and added a selection of flowers and berries from a variety of craft shops. The lovely pearls are from my friend Jules, who very kindly sent them to me.

Its almost the weekend, have a good one.

Dancing Queen Tilda Card

Good Morning Everyone

I have coloured up this gorgeous image of Dancing Queen Tilda. From the new collection.

I have coloured her up with distress inks for a change and went for a bit of a vintage look with the card.

Its quite different style for me and I am pleased with how it turned out, as I quite often struggle when trying to change my style.

I made my own matching moon pearls pin (top left) and of my paper elements are hand cut from DPs, except the two tickets.

The gorgeous ribbon is my absolute favourite ribbon of all. I have it in 3 colours and its actually on sale and available at the Ribbon Girl!

That's all from me today, have a great day!

Rosebud Tilda Card

Good Afternoon Everyone.

I am so excited because I have my new Tilda's that I seem to have had only order for such a looong time! I wanted to make a spring card for a change.

Here is my first card that I have made, using pink and green as my main colourway this is such a lovely combo.

I have added a Magnolia Dragonfly to the main image, although I think they look like butterflies myself - hey ho, personal preference I suppose.

So here is my card...

I have coloured my image entirely with copics and hand stitched my lovely Maja papers. (although covered alot of it up with embellies!)

I have added several Magnolia Die cuts and two lots of lovely lace and I think that the beautiful Ribbon is called silk crush or similar.

Of course the heart doilies are La Land with WOC and LLCs gorgeous florals and Berries!

Thank you for stopping by today.

I hope that you have a lovely weekend.

Hello Everyone,

Here is a Tilda card using a gorgeous golden oldie!!

I absolutely adore this Tilda with Winter Flowers and I have the mini stamp too. So I thought that it was waaayy past time to match them both up. This Tilda has always been one of my favourites, I just love her cute cardigan and ankle socks.

I made the flowers on the right hand side!!! I also dyed the lower roses and cherry blossoms too with my DI's. This is the card with the mini Tilda in place on the top left hand corner, with hand dyed seam binding.

The little bird house and bird, are hand made from clay. I just love them and my butterflies are elements from one of Pion Design border sheets and the main paper is Maja Design

Miracle Love Tilda x

Good Afternoon,

I am back today with another Tilda that has been hiding away in my craft room drawer! He he!

This adorable Tilda is called Miracle Love Tilda!!

I have coloured her with copics and added a little stickles to her wings.

There is a section of white Prima pearl decoration beside the image and I have used alot of other pink pearls throughout my card. I made the little clay bird house myself and this lace is certainly turning out to be a favourite of mine.

I absolutely LOVE this Ribbon, I bought it from the Ribbon Girl a while ago. It makes such beautiful bows and the floral pearl trim at the top of the lace is from there too!

I just couldn't bear to cove up the lace and papers, with a tag or similar, I think they are very pretty on their own. All flowers are of course woc and I have used some pretty sparkly berries available here at Jules ebay shop

Thank you so much for stopping by and please don't forget to enter your own floral cards over at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge, link at the top of this page!

Mothers Day Card - No Magnolia from me today!!!

Happy Mothers Day to everyone in the UK and also everyone celebrating Mothers Day anywhere else in the world!

My family all went for a meal today to celebrate and here is my mums card that I made for her.

I usually make a Tilda card, but thought that I would do something a little different today and she loves it!

I've used a mix of papers, Lemon craft papers and Magnolia Papers on the front of the card, with a few from my crafty stash and Magnolia paper to line the inside.

These are WOC 40mm Trellis Roses. I used two cream ones. One I dyed pink and added a bit of an accent around the petals and the other one I covered the edges of the the petals with Diamond Dust. The red flower was originally terracotta, but I dyed it red/burgundy.

My mum loves it and that is what is important today, she will be adding it her FB later he he!

Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Rose Cake Tilda Card for Fun

Good Afternoon

I have been making this card over the last couple of days.
I absolutely adore Rose cake Tilda and just couldn't wait until popped through my letter box!

My central paper is one of the one of new Easter papers from Pion design and this one is called Cherry Tree.  Tilda is so adorable and I have coloured her with copics and added a little frantage around the edges.

This is a brass metal butterfly, I painted it with gesso, distressed with DI's and added a few pearls, it is available and craft heaven shop.

I haven't used my chipboard happy birthday embellies for a while, so it was time to get them out of their drawer he he! All the leaves are die cut from DP too.

I absolutely adore the new release Magnolia chicken wire die and I have cut mine from DP!

Have a great day and don't forget you have one more week to enter our challenge at LHOSM challenge with the easy peasy theme being Hearts of any kind.
